Extremely loud music played until early hours. Overpriced.

What a joke. £188 room with music so loud we could barely talk let alone sleep. You are taking the piss, 'lively music at weekends"? That's not stating the facts. You need to change this to 'Very loud music audible in our rooms until the early hours which most people struggle to sleep to." And no earplugs provided. Overpriced food in restaurant. Overpriced room. Avoid with a barge pole. Friendly staff but they certainly weren't forthcoming with warning us about music levels.

Nicely appointed hotel located steps from the Monaseraki metro stop. Room was spacious & clean. Not to mention the breathtaking view. Neighborhood is busy & a bit noisy. Staff (especially Rosalia) very nice. Allowed us to store our luggage after checkout & helped with a taxi request. Would recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights and found it perfect for us. We arrived about 8pm and checked in straight away, all staff were very pleasant and helpful. We were given a room on the 5th floor, room was a good size, clean and well equipped. We headed out for dinner and arrived back at about midnight to find the music above us on the 6th floor blaring and I mean blaring. Our windows were shaking it was that loud. It eventually stopped at about 2am, which wasn't ideal after a long day travelling. We headed for breakfast and mentioned the noise and asked if it was possible to be moved, which happened and we were grateful for. We were moved to a larger room on the 2nd floor which, whilst we could still hear the music, it wasn't as half as bad as previous. Breakfast at the hotel was great, large selection, a lot of it wasn't to our taste but the range is vast. Cheesecake, pasta, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages etc. The view on the roof terrace is amazing! Location wise, the hotel is perfect, apart from getting a cab from the airport, we didn't need to get any transport anywhere else. We walked everywhere which was great. Due to being in the centre, the noise from the square below is loud but we didn't mind. On our last night we stopped at the roof top bar for some drinks, which was good fun but pricey! When paying we were asked outright to add a tip onto our bill, which was slightly awkward. Great hotel, perfect location and great staff. Just be aware of the rooftop bar as the have a DJ every night I believe but it is especially loud on Friday/Saturday nights.

Went as a family of 4 and couldn’t be happier. Right in the heart of everywhere you need to be! Breakfast was great and the roof terrace was brilliant. Rooms are stylish yet simple and cleaned every day - new towels and fresh water bottles supplied too! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Athens for a city break.

A for Athens is amazing! We stayed twice - once at the beginning of our trip and again at the end. Both times we had a room facing Monastiraki Square - you cannot beat the view of the square with the Acropolis behind it. The rooms were super clean and the beds were comfortable. Yes, there is noise from the street performers in the square, but neither of us was bothered by it and we were able to sleep well. The breakfast buffet offered a delicious variety and we looked forward to going each morning. We also had dinner at the rooftop restaurant which I would highly recommend doing. The food is delicious and the, again, the view is unbeatable. You can't get a better location - we could walk to all of the ancient sites and there were lots of nearby restaurants, cafes and shops. The metro station is just a few steps away making getting to and from the airport a breeze. If I return to Athens, this will be the place I will stay.
